Our terms of service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to pwn.guide ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website (the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

pwn.guide provides legal penetration testing tutorials, covering various topics such as SQL injection, SDR hacking and ADS-B data retrieval from airplanes.

3. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect the following data when you use our Service: (Format: Data type, example)

  • Email
  • Username (If you add it)
  • Date created
  • Date updated
  • Email verification token
  • Auto-generated user ID
  • Email verification date
  • Profile picture URL (If signed in with Google or GitHub), Example: https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/108555336?v=4
  • Stripe subscription ID, status (active, canceled, lifetime), and billing information
  • Subscription period end date (for recurring subscriptions)
  • Payment method information (last 4 digits, expiration date)
  • Billing history and invoices
  • Notes you create, including their content, date of creation and last update

We do not share this data with anyone, and it is used solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Service.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. You are required to keep everything legal, and we are not responsible for any illegal use of our services.

5. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms.

6. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time without notice. The latest version will be posted on the website. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, pwn.guide and its affiliates, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

9. Email Policy

We may send you emails to the email you've used to register, most likely less than once a month. You can always unsubscribe from them, except if they are important updates.

9. Subscription Plans

pwn.guide offers Starter (Free), Plus, Certificate, and Enterprise subscription plans. See our Plans & Pricing page for current pricing and detailed feature comparisons.

Subscription Terms:

  • Monthly and yearly subscriptions auto-renew until canceled
  • Lifetime subscriptions are one-time purchases with permanent access
  • You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time via Billing Management
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Charges are processed through Stripe or cryptocurrency processors
  • Failed payments may result in subscription cancellation

10. Refund Policy

Summary: Monthly and yearly subscriptions are non-refundable. Lifetime purchases may be considered for refunds within 30 days on a case-by-case basis. Enterprise/bulk orders (3+ seats) evaluated individually.

Detailed Policy:

  • Monthly/Yearly Subscriptions: No refunds due to low subscription cost and immediate access to digital content. Cancel anytime to avoid future charges.
  • Lifetime Purchases: May request refund consideration within 30 days of purchase. Contact support@pwn.guide with purchase details. Not guaranteed; evaluated case-by-case.
  • Enterprise/Bulk Orders: For orders of 3 or more seats, refunds may be considered based on circumstances, usage, and timeline.
  • Billing Errors: Full refund provided immediately for our billing mistakes.
  • Chargebacks: Contact support@pwn.guide before filing chargebacks. Accounts suspended pending chargeback investigation.

Before Subscribing:

  • Try our free Starter plan first (no credit card required)
  • Access 75+ free tutorials to evaluate the platform
  • Only subscribe when you're confident it meets your needs

11. Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe
  • Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, and 150+ others) via NOWPayments
  • Enterprise invoicing with Net 30 terms (for qualifying organizations)

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers. We do not store full credit card numbers.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts for:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent activity or payment chargebacks deemed invalid
  • Sharing account credentials
  • Attempting to circumvent payment or access controls
  • Illegal activities or unauthorized testing
  • Abuse of our services or support

13. Service Availability

We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

  • Perform maintenance requiring temporary downtime
  • Update or modify features and content
  • Suspend service during technical issues
  • We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our reasonable control

14. Content Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee:

  • Tutorials are always current with latest tool versions
  • All techniques will work in all environments
  • Content is error-free

Users are responsible for verifying information and using content appropriately.
